Anyone plan on playing Star Wars: The Old Republic? Was in the beta over the weekend and I've pre-ordered. Would be great to see some familiar names there.

Got the beta invite but didn't even bother to try it. Any good? Not that I have time to play it, just wondering if they managed to pull off the MMO + star wars formula yet

I enjoyed it. Played a smuggler to 13 and a sith warrior to 11. I loved all the voice acting in the interactions with the npc. In true Bioware fashion, every choice you make has consequences, and can come back to bit or help you several levels later. If you liked Mass Effect and KOTOR you will like this. Going to be strictly casual in it, as I've been back in school for the last year and still have 6 months to go, graduate in May, woot!

I played the first Beta weekend, Played a Smuggler to 11 , Jedi to 11, and Sith warrior to 11. What i did like was the story lines and how utterly different they were. I have to be honest though, the gameplay just didnt hold me long term, i got into the beta weekend again this past weekend and didnt even bother to log on. The group gameplay felt alright at best, they way they handled in group dialog was tedious and too random. Dont know if i will get the game or not but if i do i will look you guys up.

You know me i am all about group play, i dont play an MMO to solo grind. The group instance i did was fun, and the bosses were actually slightly interesting but the dialog drove me batty.

Don't know me but I played Rift with BoW for awhile, I was planning on playing SWTOR as well but as it stands I'm going in alone and just looking for people to play with.
